Diatomaceous Earth

It is a naturally occurring soft rock that is later turned into a powder. It is made of fossilised algae and is rich in silica.
 
Common use:
insecticide - sprinkle lightly on top of your soil to get rid of aphids and black flies,
might help with reducing high levels of cholesterol when ingested,
worm and flea repellent,
helps with constipation,
improves the health of skin, nails, teeth, bones, and hair,
can be used for exfoliation.
